Donated Van For Sale  

Hearts For Heaven, the Guatemalan ministry run by Roger and Beth Briggs, has received a 2000 Ford Windstar as a donation.  The van will be sold to raise money to purchase a truck needed by the on-site minister in Guatemala.

The van can be seen in the parking lot at Siler.  It is silver in color and does not have a license tag at this time.  Beth is doing some research on the value of the van and will be posting more information here.

She believes that the purchase of the van will be viewed as a donation to Hearts For Heaven and therefore qualifies for a tax write off.  If anyone is interested in purchasing this van please contact Roger or Beth at rbbriggs2000@yahoo.com.

Reach Team Needs Help - July 13
On July 13th, the Reach team arrives for the week to setup. We need 30 people who can help unload and setup on that Sunday. You can sign up on the volunteer sheets in the hall. Please come out and help us get a jump on the work to be done.  
Vacation Bible School, Monday - Friday, July 7 - 11
Let your friends and neighbors know that they can sign up for this year's VBS, "Cosmic City" at www. silerchurch.org. Four-year-olds through 5th graders are welcome to join us on our adventure to explore the awesome wonder of God!

Supplies needed: For the decorations, we need any of the following: Empty individual size water bottles (.5 liter), empty baby food jars and aluminum pie pans. Please drop items off at Elisabeth's office or the children's church room.

Clean-up help needed: If you can help straighten up the church on Friday, July 11, at 9pm or on Saturday, please let Elisabeth know.
