Holy Week 2015

March 29 - Palm Sunday
Services at 8:30am & 11:00am,
celebrating Jesus' entry into the city of Jerusalem.

Children will enter with palm branches both services.

April 2 - Maundy Thursday 
Communion Service beginning at 7pm,
commemorating our Lord's Last Supper with His disciples.

April 5 - Easter Sunday
Sunrise Service at 7am in the Siler Cemetery beside Wesley Chapel Fire Department (weather permitting),
celebrating our Lord's resurrection and our hope of eternal life.
We will also celebrate our Lord's glorious resurrection at the 8:30am & 11:00am worship services.
Come join us as we worship the risen King and the Son of the living God!

Campaign Challenge

On the 4th Sunday of each month, all undesignated offerings go to the building fund.  We hope you will consider an additional offering for The $11 Challenge.  Designate this for the Sunday School Campaign

Our Sunday morning Bulletins and our Monthly Newsletters can be found on the top menu, under US, and are uploaded on Fridays before the Sunday services. The sermon audios are under RESOURCES at the bottom of the left menu.
April 1 - Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinners continue.  April 1st's dinner is a fundraiser to hire a bus to take kids to camp this sumemr.  You can sign up on Sundays on the clipboard, or before Tuesday noon online under Registrations and Reservations (left column near bottom).


1st & 3rd Sundays are          'Donuts and Donations' Sundays, 9:30-9:45 in the Fellowship Hall.  Bring non-perishable food items and place them in the collection bins in the fellowship Hall (these go to area Food Banks), and enjoy fresh donuts and an opportunity to catch up with friends.

Crafting days! - On Wednesday April 15 at 7pm, and Monday April 20 at 9:30am, in the Dodd Building, the Women of Siler are invited to a time of fellowship and crafting... all skill levels are needed!Projects will be sold at the WOS Country Store in November.  Please continue to donate your unused craft items, this month especially scrapbook paper, straight pins, mason jars/lids, and 8x10 frames.  Contact Bonita Somers or Rosey Farrell. 

March 25 - The Women's Wednesday Night Bible Study will begin "Cne In A Million" by Priscilla Shirer, a 7-week study. We start at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall.  Please join us for this time of study and fellowship - contact the office or Becky Harkey if you want more info.

March 28 - Union County Crisis Assistance Ministry (CAM) is having their 4th Annual CrisisRun (5K or 10K) fundraiser on Saturday March 28 at Wingate University.  Siler Men of the Church invite you to participate.  You can register online at www.racesonline.com or on the day of the race beginning at 8am. NOW til April 15 - We are putting together a new Siler Cookbook!  Start submitting your favorite recipes to mvwilson4@yahoo.com or you can place your recipe in Michelle Ingram's box at the church office.  Make sure your name is on the recipe so we can give you credit.  Favorite recipes from previous Siler cookbooks are also welcome, just make sure it is referenced as such. 

April 19 - The Family Focus Sunday School Class will begin a new study "From This Day Forward" by Craig and Amy Groeschel, starting April 19.  Contact Jane & Kent Staude for more info.

Registration continues for our Women of Siler's annual retreat at the Beach Cove Resort, on April 24-26.  Return the Registration Form and your check to the church office.

The Local Missions Committee is looking for more volunteers to help serve, or coordinate our efforts to serve, Christ in the community.  For more info, go to the Local Missions tab under SERVE, left menu, or contact Bob Moore (remoore19@gmail.com.)  Find your niche as we seek to reach the world for Christ.

July 26-30 - VBS 2015!  Never too early to plan for this huge event!
